Mentor

  • Position: Serve as a mentor to a program participant.
  • Time commitment:
    • • Meet 2x/week with your mentee
    • • Weekly phone call with mentee
    • • Attend 6 of the 16 bootcamp sessions
    • • Weekend retreat at the end of bootcamp
    • • Attend TIP curriculum training
  • Support: URCA staff provide weekly conference calls, case management assistance for your mentee and printed resources for referrals.

 

Job readiness coaching

  • Position: Help prepare participants for future jobs by:
    • • Reviewing participant resumes
    • • Helping with interview preparation
    • • Providing coaching to participants as they navigate the job market
  • Time commitment: As much time as you would like to give!
  • Support: URCA staff will work with your schedule. This position is flexible!

 

Event support

  • Position: Assist with set-up and take-down for various URCA events, including cohort session and graduation.
  • Time commitment: 3-4 hours per event
  • Support: URCA staff will be on hand to direct you in event set-up.
